ACU-SOMATICS

Acu-Somatics is a deeply transformative healing experience that fuses the ancient art of acupuncture with the intuitive, body-based wisdom of somatic practices- all held with care by Amanda’s grounded presence and intuitive gifts. Rooted in both science and spirit, it is a therapeutic process designed to regulate the nervous system, support trauma resolution, and invite profound self-connection.


For many, healing can feel like an endless cycle of understanding why they feel the way they do —yet still feeling stuck. That’s because you can’t think your way out of unprocessed emotions or stored trauma. You can’t simply tell your body to feel safe using only your mind. Healing doesn’t happen through logic alone—it happens through the body. 


That’s where Acu-Somatics becomes the missing piece of the puzzle.


Somatic work invites you to gently tune in to your inner landscape—your sensations, breath, movement, and subtle emotional cues. It allows space for the body to speak what words cannot. When combined with the deep regulation of acupuncture, which harmonizes the nervous system and restores balance, the result is a holistic healing experience that meets you on every level: physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual.

Before moving into our somatic practices, we begin with the gentle art of acupuncture—using either needles or non needle techniques—to guide the body into a parasympathetic state, a place of deep rest where healing begins. As Qi flows through the meridians, stress patterns begin to unwind, the mind softens, and the body becomes more receptive. This regulated, grounded state creates the optimal internal environment to access subconscious material stored in the tissues, breath, and fascia—laying the foundation for the somatic experience to unfold with greater ease and safety.


Unlike traditional talk therapy, which often emphasizes mental analysis and story, Acu-Somatics works directly with the body’s felt sense. We listen to the language of sensation, impulse, and subtle shifts—gently tracking what arises: emotion, memory, image, or insight. These threads are followed, not forced. As the body completes old survival responses—such as fight, flight, freeze, or fawn—the system begins to restore its natural rhythm and resilience.


Each session is a collaborative journey, rooted in deep presence, safety, and trust in your body’s innate wisdom. We work gently and powerfully to release stored trauma, dissolve limiting beliefs, move through emotions and help you feel safe within your own body and expression. As tension melts and inner clarity emerges, you naturally become a vibrational match for the life you truly desire.


Sessions may also include elements of ancestral or shamanic healing, sound therapy, or channeled insights from the energetic field. Every session becomes a ceremonial space—one where your whole being is welcomed, honored, and empowered to let go of what no longer serves you.


Rather than chasing symptoms, Acu-Somatics listens to the quiet wisdom within. It honors the body as a guide and the nervous system as a sacred map. This is a space where you are held in full presence—a space where healing moves through you, and your most authentic self is remembered.

Illness & Cancellation Policy

If you’re feeling unwell with cold or flu symptoms, please stay home to keep our space safe and operational for everyone. Your session fee will be waived — we deeply appreciate your care for the community’s wellbeing.

​

For all other changes, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice (two business days) if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are subject to a $50 fee.
